1. Since I've been depressed and have had trouble writing, I've really gotten into Law & Order SVU and Good Eats. Bad, I know, but I like them anyway.
2. I won packs of charm squares when I went on the quilt bus trip last fall, the first I'd ever had. (For non-quilters, charm squares are packets of 5" squares of coordinating fabric samples from a given fabric line, designer, and manufacturer, usually around 30 different squares). I've bought a few more since, all of fabric I wouldn't normally buy, and it's been pretty fun making small quilts outside of my comfort zone. I bought two packs over the weekend of Moda's Spring Meadow. This is the quilt I'm planning on making, except I'll put the baskets on point. I'm even doing it on white, which will definitely be a different color scheme for me. ;)
3. I've written about twenty four thousand words (wow, that's a quarter of a book!) since January 13th. Too bad none of them are fiction.
4. We're now a four cat family. Twitch went to live with Rick's girlfriend, partly because he adored her so much that he Would. Not. Get. Off. Her. Lap. lol  Twitch loves love.
5. My daughter made me a beaded bracelet for Christmas and I've worn it pretty much non stop ever since. This is unusual because, other than my wedding ring, I almost never wear jewelry.
6. I'm left handed and my kitchen is set up that way. When in doubt, go left for dishes, glasses, silverware, and measuring utensils. If my measuring cups aren't in the far left top cupboard, I lose my cooking bearings and it throws off the whole process.
